Hidalgo County (KFXV) — Only those who have active arrest warrants for committing serious crimes are chosen to be featured on wanted wednesday.
Dozens of people have walked through these doors over the last year and a half thanks to the hidalgo county wanted wednesday social media program – thanks to the community’s help.
Through calls to the department and Crimestoppers, people around the valley are getting involved
This program started as a means to help the departments as well as to utilize social media.
This week’s Wanted Wednesday is Ismael Chavez, wanted for aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
The 24-years-old stands at five feet, seven inches tall and weighs one hundred seventy pounds. If you recognize him or know where he is, call Hidalgo County Crimestoppers at 956-668-8477.
