Texas Workforce donates over $250,000 to PSJA for Foster Youth Dropout Prevention Program
Texas Workforce donated more than $290,000 to the Foster Youth Dropout Prevention Program at the PSJA School District on Tuesday.
According to the Texas Education Agency, nearly 27 thousand students in foster care attend Texas Public Schools, the percentage of students in foster care who drop out is more than three times those who live with their biological families. The funds will cover any necessities for high school students. It also covers college tuition completely.
