A Texas man has been charged in a gun case tied to a Mexican drug lord’s arrest.

According to the Associated Press, Michael Damon Rodriguez from Spring Branch– just outside of San Antonio– is accused of passing on weapons to his father– guns, that ended up in the hands of Miguel Angel Treviño, the leader of the Zetas Cartel who was arrested in July.

Rodriguez is facing federal charges.

His father– Manuel Rodriguez– was indicted earlier this year.
