Constables Pursue Vehicle in North Edinburg

EDINBURG (KFXV) — The Hidalgo County Constable Precinct 4’s office engaged in a pursuit this evening in North Edinburg. According to the constable’s office, the pursuit occurred 15 miles west of FM 1017. The vehicle carried several undocumented people inside. Charges Increased to Capital Murder for Undocumented Man

McAllen (KFXV) — In McAllen, officials raise the charges for the undocumented Honduran an who assaulted a McAllen veteran and stole his vehicle after the veteran passed away this weekend. In January, 32-year-old, Andres Roberto Ortiz assaulted 56-year-old, Jose Olveiro, stole his car and rolled the vehicle over at the 3100 block of west bound frontage on Highway 83. Police found Ortiz and initially charged him with aggravated assault.
