Police Search For Sandcastle Vandals, Over $24,000 In Damages

On Friday morning at around 1:40 am, four male subjects destroyed the sandcastle in front of the visitor’s center at south padre island. The incident was all caught on camera, you can see the men walking around in front of the visitors center shortly after they begin stepping and horseplaying on top of the structure. Randy Smith, chief of police, told Fox News South Texas that SPI is known for their sandcastle destinations and it’s a signature event that happens there every year. Judge Rudy Delgado Goes Before Judge on Bribery Charges

93rd District Court Judge, Rudy Delgado going before a judge himself today after his arrest last weekend. It was Friday afternoon when the FBI raided the court in Hidalgo County following the investigation into his home where they seized several documents. Delgado is accused of accepting bribes after an attorney confessed to having made agreements in several judicial cases. RGV (KFXV) — Women charged for drug-related crimes– a type of crime that has been increasing and affecting the South Texas region. Twenty seven year old, Elizabeth Gonzalez was placed in custody on Tuesday, after several bundles of narcotics were found in her vehicle– as she traveled from Mexico into the U.S. The criminal complaint states Gonzalez was referred to a secondary inspection at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge, after a canine alerted Customs and Border Protection officers.
