One mother is desperate for answers after her son has yet to wake up from a coma. Weslaco (KFXV) — In Weslaco, a 63-year-old woman dies after being hit by a driver who didn’t stop to help. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash that happened Sunday around 11 at night. on F.M. 1015, south of Mile 12 North Road, north of Weslaco. DPS says a suspect vehicle fled the scene, described as a gray passenger car, last seen traveling northbound on F.M. 1015. HARLINGEN (KFXV) — Police responded to the scene of a collision between a bicyclist and a vehicle. The Harlingen Police Department is reporting that early this morning, near the 1200 block of W. Woman behind bars for alleged intentional hit-and-run

WESLACO (KFXV) — A woman is behind bars tonight after a hit-and-run investigation that authorities believe was intentional. While one woman remains hospitalized tonight, her alleged attacker is behind bars on aggravated assault charges. Twenty-one-year-old, Mariah Nicole Garcia is facing one count of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury after she struck a 25-year-old woman with her vehicle. According to investigators from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s office, Garcia committed the crime intentionally on Wednesday early in the morning before fleeing the scene in rural Weslaco.
