Judge Rudy Delgado Goes Before Judge on Bribery Charges

93rd District Court Judge, Rudy Delgado going before a judge himself today after his arrest last weekend. It was Friday afternoon when the FBI raided the court in Hidalgo County following the investigation into his home where they seized several documents. Delgado is accused of accepting bribes after an attorney confessed to having made agreements in several judicial cases. Authorities continue to investigate a residence in Edinburg.  It was this afternoon when Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra confirmed the FBI was conducting law enforcement activity at the 93rd District Court in Edinburg.  A spokeswoman from the FBI confirmed to Fox News that the nature of the investigations cannot be revealed at the moment but she did say that the FBI has detained someone but, the persons identify has not yet been revealed. Update regarding the FBI’s investigation into the Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation. The Hidalgo County Commissioners voted unanimously to terminate their negotiations with the company. In a closed-door discussion the Commissioners, decided to begin their negotiations with the second firm, Jacobs project management. EDINBURG (KFXV) — New developments on the FBI raids that took place Wednesday morning at Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation. The Hidalgo County Commissioners Court has decided to stop negotiations with Dannenbaum Engineering and move forward with another firm for the courthouse program manager contract. FBI Agents Raid Edinburg Medical Office

Edinburg (KFXV) – Federal agent’s latest raid is a medical office in Edinburg. The Center for Arthritis and Osteoporosis at the 2600 block of Cornerstone Boulevard was shut down early this morning. A number of police unit as well as a number of unmarked vehicles and a moving truck were on scene. Federal agents were seen escorting employees out of the building, and several people arriving at the clinic were also turned away.
