Students Accused of Causing $100,000 in Damages to Golf Course Face Judge

Six students accused of breaking into and causing $100,000 worth of damage at the La Joya ISD golf course face a judge.

All six teenagers are charged with burglary of a building and criminal mischief.

We’re told a seventh student involved, a 17-year-old, will be charged at a later date.

The district estimates the damage to be around $100,000 after several golf carts were found submerged in a nearby canal last month.
