In less than 24 hours, the wet weather has been a backdrop to two lives lost on Valley roads– the latest in the city of Penitas.
The rollover accident was reported at around 8 a.m. off Tom Gill and Camino Real.
Authorities say the driver was the only occupant in the solo crash and that his body was ejected and found about 100 ft. from the scene of the crash vehicle.
Investigators add the driver was a 19-year-old male.
They are investigating what caused the crash.
On Thursday, a driver was killed off the Monte Cristo exit off HWY 281 in Edinburg.
Police say speed and the wet roads were major factors.
