A federal judge has moved the sentencing date for the suspects convicted in the Hidalgo County Panama Unit corruption scandal.

The sentencing date has been scheduled for December 19th.

Of the 12 suspects, 11 plead guilty to their roles in selling drugs to traffickers and make a profit- including Jonathan Treviño, the son of Sheriff Guadalupe Treviño.

Former Deputy, Jorge Garza was found guilty earlier this year.

The new sentencing date will be almost a year since the scandal broke.

All face 10 years to life in prison.
