A Weslaco mother is facing child endangerment charges after police found her 3-year-old daughter wandering the streets alone.
According to police, the toddler was found around 2:30 am on the 100 block of W. First St. wearing nothing but a pink dress and no shoes.
Police say they are unaware of how long she had been on the street for luckily, she didn’t suffer any injuries.
Police tell FOX 2 NEWS, the toddler’s 24-year-old mother went to the Weslaco police department around noon today to file a missing person’s report, that’s when she was arrested.
The girl is in cps custody as her mother awaits her arraignment scheduled for tomorrow morning.
