Authorities are currently on the look out for a man wanted in connection of the beating death of his own father-in-law early this morning.
505 Michigan St. in Laguna Heights, that is where authorities say 56-year-old Jose Antonio Martinez-Perez was found at around 1:30 a.m. brutally attacked in his own home.
Now the hunt is on for the believed suspect Lucio Garcia-Navarro, Perez’s son-in-law who is now considered a fugitive.
It was Perez’s wife, Angela Martinez who found him, describing the grim discovery like a scene from a horror movie.
Perez was reportedly bleeding profusely when he was taken to Valley Regional Hospital in Brownsville where he was pronounced dead around 3:50 a.m.
A motive is still unknown, however investigators say there was an argument between the relatives prior to the incident.
Navarro has a criminal past for drug possession and driving without a license.
Convictions that resulted in his deportation to Mexico on several occasions but he always made his way back.
Police are now asking your help.
