La Joya city agencies are resuming normal operations, following Wednesday’s federal raid that targeted a school board member.
The housing authority offices reopened Thursday after being one target in Wednesday’s raid centering around director “JJ” Garza, who is also a La Joya school board member. Garza’s home was also subject to the raid, where investigators seized an undisclosed amount of files.
More details haven’t been released. FOX2 tried contacting Garza through his offices but he was not available.
