Harlingen (KFXV) — The investigation continues in search of the suspect or suspects involved in an aggravated assault.
The incident happened almost two months ago when a woman was found severely injured laying on the concrete of a Harlingen alleyway.
These are the images just published by the Harlingen Police Department. Investigators are trying to identify the people inside these vehicles seen on the scene moments before the disturbing discovery.
Security video shows this pick up truck entering the parking lot of the North Star Village Apartments on the morning of October 6th at around 5:38 am.
The pick up truck parks and 19 minutes later this compact vehicle is seen driving through the alley at a high speed. The same alley where the woman was found severely injured.
Just seconds later- the same pickup truck puts the vehicle on reverse and leaves the scene.
This woman told Fox News her story as she witnessed her son discover the victim with severe injuries to her face and chest.
We are hiding her identity for safety purposes.
Investigators say the victim was identified as a hispanic woman in her thirties.
Police now publishing these images after months of investigation left the trial cold for a suspect.
Hoping these images will bring new details in the case encouraging people to come forward.
Once again police are trying to identify the drivers of these vehicles or any information in the case. The smallest detail could be of major help. You could also be eligible for a $1000 reward. The number for Harlingen Crime Stoppers is (956) 425-8477.
