A victim of theft is accusing her ex-boyfriend of pawning her belongings.

31-year-old Hector Antonio Arredondo from McAllen was charged with theft Tuesday afternoon in Mission for allegedly selling over $200,000-worth of his ex-girlfriend’s property. Twenty-four items, including Louis Vuitton hand bags and jewelry, were believed to have been stolen between June and October for vengeful reasons.

Investigators have only been able to retrieve half of the victim’s possessions totaling about $16,000. Arredondo was given a bond of $200,000– almost the same amount as the valued property. He could face up to 99 years in prison.
