MISSION – What is being called a miss-step of a pedal has sent two people to the hospital.
According to police, a 77-year-old female driver crashed into the security first credit union off FM-495 near Stewart road this afternoon. After accidentally stepping on her gas pedal instead of the break.
“She plowed through and sent two people to the hospital,” explains Sgt. Manny Casas, from Mission police dept.
Two bank tellers were taken to the hospital. Their conditions haven’t been released. Investigators add that department of public safety will be reviewing her eligibility to drive after mission police finish their report.
