The driver behind a weekend crash in Cameron County that injured several people, including himself, is now of the hospital and under arrest.
19-year-old Raul Montes De Oca has been charged with intoxication assault and issued a 500-thousand dollar bond.

Investigators say Montes De Oca ran through a red light Sunday along Boca Chica and padre boulevards in the city of Brownsville.
Hitting a ford F-150, the female driver was ejected from her vehicle. She is currently recovering from severe, but non-life threatening injuries.
A toxicology test is pending to confirm if Montes de Oca was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
