BROWNSVILLE – About 100 school buses in Brownsville are under inspection after endangering the lives of students on two different occasions, less than a week apart.
The manufacturing company has sent mechanics to the valley in response to two school bus fires, the first on October 4th. The second, just days later on October 9th.
In both cases, dozens of students were on board but all were safely evacuated. Preliminary investigations indicate that electrical problems sparked the fires.
