Sixty-two-year-old Harlingen resident Mario Reyna was detained by police after calls were made reporting the theft of four items from a business located on the 1800 block of West Lincoln street. According to police reports, Reyna concealed the merchandise under his jacket as he walked out of the business without paying. Once detained officers learned Reyna had two previous theft convictions making the crime a state jail felony. The items allegedly stolen are valued at $104. Reyna was issued a $7,500 bond.
