51-Year-Old Man Charged in Fatal Donna Shooting
A 51-year-old man is charged in connection to a Donna Shooting that left one dead this Monday afternoon.
The main suspect in the fatal shooting was arrested last night and remains behind bars after being charged with murder.
The accused, identified as 51-year-old, Benito Hernandez-Uvalle, charged with murder and attempted murder, both a first and second degree felony. His bond was set at $,750,000. Hernandez-Uvalle was arrested Wednesday night.
On Monday around 3 p.m. officers responded to a car crash on the Eastbound lane of the 200 block of West Frontage Road. Upon arrival, police found 38-year-old Pedro Lopez Morales had suffered a gunshot wound to his head.
Investigators believe that the two men knew each other and the incident is drug-related.
If found guilty, Hernandez-Uvalle could spend the rest of his life in prison.
