Starr County’s anti-drug trafficking task force, HIDTA, landed its third drug after a routine traffic stop around the noon hour, agents pulled-over a man driving a white SUV near FM 2098 Road in Falcon Heights, north of the city of Roma. When suddenly the suspect fled the scene abandoning his vehicle, which was loaded with over 200 lbs. of marijuana. This comes to meet an average for HIDTA, who say about 100 to 3,000 lbs. are seized each day.
