Weslaco (KFXV) — Police are investigating a series of robberies that took place in less than a week.

One suspect is facing charges, but now police need help identifying those involved in the other crimes.

The first burglary happened at Happiness Cupcakes located at 614 South Texas Boulevard.
The suspects forced entry by breaking a window. They took an empty cash register and fled the scene.
The second incident happened a couple of blocks away at Cilantro’s Restaurant
And in similar events, the individuals broke a window and took off with the cash drawer. This time some cash was taken.
Fast-forward to Monday Morning, Keno’s Cafe is targeted and 28-year-old Jorge Moreno III, faces charges in connection to that burglary.
His bond is set at $10,000.
Despite the similarities between the crimes, police say that they cannot jump to conclusions unless it is supported by evidence.
Weslaco police add that Moreno is no stranger to law enforcement.
