Two Recovering After Shot in Fronton; One Dead

FRONTON (KFXV) — We first reported on a shooting near Fronton, in western Starr County, last night that left two injured, and one dead.

More details have been released. Starr county, along with state, federal and Mexican authorities are investigating the incident that occurred around 4 in the afternoon.

The victims — who are all in the United States legally — report that they were fired upon from the Mexican side while fishing on a boat. According to authorities, the two who were injured, are recovering.
