Texas lieutenant governor Dan Patrick announcing efforts to keep the national guard troops on the Mexico border. Saying that drug cartels are waiting for guard to leave the Rio Grande Valley next month.

The troops were sent to the Texas-Mexico border last summer, and they’re currently funded through March 2015.
