Police Arrest Two Allegedly Stealing from Wal-Mart

Brownsville (KFXV) — Two are arrested and charged with theft after apparently trying to get away with merchandise from a Wal-Mart It happened on the 27 hundred block of Boca Chica St in Brownsville. The men were identified as 20 year old, Anthony Louis Arimendi and 19 year old, Samuel Vasquez. Officers were told by store employees– the “duo” took merchandise from the store and tried to get away in a white Nissan. Officers arrived and were able to intercept the two in the parking lot. Authorities Searching for Motorized Wheelchair Thief

The search is on for a man seen stealing a motorized wheelchair from a Weslaco Wal-Mart. Surveillance footage shows the man walking into the Wal-Mart parking lot, located off Ballard Street, on May 11. He finds the electric wheelchair in the parking lot, and rides inside. After a short while, he leaves, empty handed, riding out of the store–and leaving the Wal-Mart property, on that same wheelchair, valued at $4,000. Mission (KFXV)– Two so-called ‘meat bandits’ faced a judge this afternoon. Frankie Vallejo and Carla Esparza have been charged with two counts of theft each, after allegedly stealing several items of meat from a local Wal-Mart a few weeks ago.
