Taylor Nicole Ramirez is found guilty of intoxication manslaughter. According to court documents, Ramirez struck David Salinas’ motorcycle with her vehicle while drunk in August of last year. The five-day trial culminated in a guilty verdict. Ramirez faced up to 20 years in prison, however a she received a sentence of 5 years. During the trial, Ramirez’s father stated that his daughter, Taylor, no longer drinks and is in rehabilitation program. Judge Denies Change of Venue in Feit Trial

The trial for former priest John Feit who stands accused of the murder of the McAllen beauty queen Irene Garza in 1960, will stay in Hidalgo County. Feit’s defense claimed that after extensive media coverage, Feit would not receive a fair trial in Hidalgo County, and presented articles, video clips and other media on the case. CAMERON COUNTY (KFXV) — One charge is dropped in a former Cameron County Judge’s case. Former Cameron County Judge, Pete Sepulveda Jr. will not stand trial after reaching an agreement with state prosecutors.
