Two brothers have been missing since October, Police offering cash reward

Authorities in Starr County need your help to locate two teenage brothers missing since last month. 17-year-old, Mario Alberto Garza and 19-year-old, Rosvel Garza were last seen October 18th right before leaving their home in a gray Dodge Dakota truck at around 9 in the morning.  That same day at approximately 4 pm, authorities discovered the vehicle had been burned and abandoned on the intersection of Mile 4 and FM 755. Three Teens Arrested For Murder of Missing RGC Teen

Starr County (KFXV) — Three juveniles have been arrested in connection to the disappearance, and now murder, of Chayse Olivarez.   We previously reported Olivarez went missing in late July.  Late friday, our sister station Univision 48 broke the news as the Starr District Attorney’s office announced three juveniles had been arrested in connection to Olivarez’ death — whose body was discovered in Roma.  One of the teens has been charged with tampering with evidence. More than $4.8 Million Worth of Marijuana Seized

The Texas Department of Public Safety is reporting that their agents seized nearly half a ton of marijuana in Starr County. According to DPS, troopers made a traffic stop in Rio Grande City, where the driver fled on foot. Troopers were unable to find the driver, but found 70 bundles of marijuana, totaling 801 pounds, hidden inside. The estimated value of the narcotics totals more than 4.8 million dollars. HIDALGO COUNTY (KFXV) — Hidalgo County is once again on the top 10 list of most child abuse cases are reported. This, even after numbers have gone down. With more than 2,500 cases valleywide– Hidalgo County makes it once again into one of the counties, with the most victims, nationwide.
