In the aftermath of the horrific shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, where Adam Lanza killed 20 children, six educators and himself, there were loud calls for greater gun control. LAX Shooting Suspect In Court

The suspect in last month’s deadly shooting at Los Angeles International Airport had a court appearance Wednesday. Paul Ciancia was ordered held without bond after saying he understood the charges against him. Smoke Shop Shooting Under Investigation

MCALLEN – A shooting victim is lucky to be alive. Bullets not getting in the way of this man, fighting for his life. McAllen police say it happened at around 10:30 p.m. yesterday at the “Puff N Stuff” smoke shop on the 66-hundred block of north 10th street. 1 Dead, Several Injured At Lax Airport Shooting

There was chaos this morning at Los Angeles International Airport when a man carrying a semi-automatic rifle shot his way past security. Police say 23-year-old Paul Ciancia entered terminal three with a firearm in a duffle bag killing a TSA officer and wounding several others before being taken into custody by airport police. After a short gunfight with police, Ciancia was wounded and taken into custody. Police say this was an isolated incident – and  believe Ciancia was the only shooter. Harlingen Shooting Suspect At Large

Harlingen police were called out to Valley Baptist Medical Center in reference to a man being treated for a gunshot wound. The unidentified victim told police he was outside his residence on the 1000 block of W. Hanson St. at around 1am when four to five unknown male subjects approached him. One of the men shot at him twice striking him in the upper left shoulder area. The culprit was described a man with tattoos all over his arms and black & white clover tattoos on his neck.
