  McAllen police have made a fifth arrest in connection to the murder of a San Antonio man whose body was found behind a home near the intersection of Main Street and Vine St. Officers arrested 49-year-old, Avero Olivarez Alaniz who is now behind bars for the death of 41-year-old, Nicholas Anthony Bazan. Death Toll Rises to Nine in Laredo Bus Crash

A ninth person is dead in the Laredo bus crash that injured 44 other passengers. Authorities confirmed that 83-year-old, Atanacio Almendares Trejo a resident of Weslaco died today at the University of Texas health science center at SAN ANTONIO from injuries he sustained in the accident.
