Authorities Search for Couple after Stealing Cash Envelope

San Juan police are searching for a couple who walked out a local supermarket with an envelope filled with cash belonging to another customer. Investigators have released this surveillance footage from the H-E-B, located on S. Veterans Blvd. and frontage where you clearly see the customer leaving her wallet along with the envelope on the counter after paying for groceries. The male suspect then throws the envelope containing more than $3,000 on the floor and his accomplice picks it up and puts it inside her purse. Sheriff’s Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

In Weslaco authorities are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery. Authorities say it happened at around 6 p.m. on Sunday. Two armed suspects made off with a silver Toyota Tundra at a home located near Mile 12 and Mile 4. According to the victims, one suspect carried a 45-caliber weapon and the other what appears to be a 9-milimeter handgun. The suspect accused of robbing three separate McAllen locations in about a 24-hour period has been formally charged. 27-year-old Luis Humberto Olivo is facing three counts of aggravated robbery, as well as possession of controlled substance, and was issued a total 365-thousand dollar bond. McAllen police say the man behind back-to-back robberies in a little over a 24-hour period is now under arrest. 27-year-old Luis Humberto Olivo was arrested yesterday by U.S. marshals in connection to three armed robberies throughout the city. Authorities say he will be formally charged this week. The first took place on the 28-hundred block of west highway 83 on Friday at an Aziz convenience store.
