La Gloria (KFXV) – Agents along the border rescue a man found unconscious Thursday morning. According to border patrol the incident happened at La Gloria. Agents found the man, he was unresponsive and appeared to have suffered multiple snake bites. EMS transported the man, later identified as an El Salvadoran national for medical treatment. Cases like the rescue we reported on of two Mexican men who were rescued from drowning by border patrol agents on Tuesday happen often along the river. Often, the consequences are fatal. Today, the Border Patrol department simulated rescues and demonstrated to members of the media the routes some of the undocumented immigrants take while crossing into the country. Roma (KFXV) – Border patrol agents near Roma rescue two men struggling to stay afloat as they swim with their families in the Rio Grande. According to the agency, yesterday a group of people on the Mexican side of the riverbank called out for help as two men swimming in the river were drowning. Rio Grande City (KFXV) — U.S. Border Patrol agents rescued a man attempting to enter the U.S. Illegally. Thursday officers noticed a Mexican National, swimming with a large group, struggling to stay afloat while attempting to cross the river. The man lost consciousness in the water and Border Patrol agents pulled him up from the river and began CPR on the unresponsive man. 11 Undocumented Immigrants Rescued From Drowning

McAllen (KFXV) — 11 undocumented immigrants thrown into the river by smugglers are rescued. On Monday night, Border Patrol agents rescued seven children and four adults from drowning in the Rio Grande that were traveling by raft. Five of the children were under the age of nine, including a one-year-old baby. At about 10:20 at night agents patrolling the river saw several people in the water struggling to stay afloat.
