BROWNSVILLE (KFXV) — Police made an arrest over the weekend of two individuals for possession of controlled substances. According to the department, on Sunday, an officer observed a vehicle traveling around the 500 block of East Alton Gloor. The vehicle — with Georgia plates — had previously been signaled as possibly carrying narcotics. After stopping the vehicle, the female driver attempted to give police a fake name. Brownsville Police Arrest Man For Selling Narcotics

Cameron County (KFXV) — Brownsville police arrested one man for selling narcotics. According to officials, while conducting surveillance on the 1800 block of Dan Street, agents with the department’s special investigations unit observed their suspect — identified as Oscar Munoz — allegedly selling drugs out of his home. After notifying Munoz of the ongoing investigation during a traffic stop, Munoz consented to a search of his residence.
