Residents in a Mcallen colonia are concerned over the recent rainfall and what will happen to their homes as more rain is expected across the Rio Grande Valley. Accident involving a forklift in McAllen

Mcallen police are probing into the so-called “Industrial accident” which happened around 4 in the afternoon Tuesday at the agricultural station on military highway and 23rd street, across from the border patrol station in McAllen. Several witnesses say that a young man was sitting on a forklift while they lowered him to the concrete platform near the warehouse. Appeals Court Announces local officials must cooperate with ICE for detentions

The Appeals Court of the Fifth Circuit announced the implementation of certain parts of SB4 that were recently blocked. Now, local officials must cooperate with ICE for detentions. Parts of this law was blocked August 30th, just two days before it took effect in Texas. Now, the Fifth Circuit has lifted this ban.
