Pharr (KFXV) – Police in Pharr respond to an auto dealership on the 1800 block of North cage after three vehicles were reported stolen. According to investigators taken from this car lot. That same morning, during a traffic stop, police located one of the vehicles being driven by a male identified as Marlin Maldonado near the intersection of Ferguson and Veterans Road. Rio Grande City (KFXV) — Two thousand pounds of marijuana were seized this weekend after a truck drove into the Rio Grande. Agents saw the driver as he sped away from the river—then sped back south and drove right into the water. When agents got there, the vehicle was partially submerged. 1350 pounds of marijuana were found on the bed of the truck. PROGRESO (KFXV) — Agents at the Progreso port of entry confiscated nearly 2000 pounds of Marijuana in two separate incidents over the past few days. Two of the men are identified as 29-year-old, Guadalupe Martinez and 21-year-old, Jesus Rodriguez.
