EMS, authorities from La Feria, Cameron County Sheriff’s Office, Weslaco’s dive team, and DPS all responded to the scene. LA FERIA (KFXV) — Scary moments for a driver who’s sports car was trapped under a trailer. Authorities responded to the incident in La Feria this morning near the intersection of Highway 83 and Mile Three. LA FERIA (KFXV) — In Cameron County, La Feria residents gathered Tuesday evening at the commissioner’s meeting after allegations surfaced regarding the possible misue of funds made by former city manager, Sunny Phillip. City officials are currently looking into three million dollars that are unaccounted for– but could not say whether they believe they were misused or not by the prior administration. Three arrested for Robbing A Home in La Feria

La Feria (KFXV) An 18 year old, a 20 year old and a minor are arrested and charged for participating in organized crime. The two adults are identified as Francisco Trevino and Jesus Alejandro Macias who are accused of robbing a home on the 600 block of Barger Street along with the minor who was not identified. La Feria (KFXV) 11 people are arrested for allegedly harboring and transporting undocumented aliens. Fox 2 cameras were there as federal agents raided the home where they operated from. In total police arrested 6 people from La Feria, 2 from Brownsville, 2 from Alton, and one from Harlingen.They all went before a judge this morning.
