Fire contained with the help of multiple fire departments

Authorities have now contained the fire but, it’s still burning. At around eleven in the morning Alton fire department received a call about a working fire in the area of mile 9 and western road in rural mission. Upon arrival, firefighters did find a five to eight acre fire that was consuming tires and brush. Laredo — This morning the Precinct 1 Webb county constable’s office and the Texas Attorney general’s office conducted an operation at Las Flores Adult Day Care Center on the 2500 block of Travis Court. Amber alert girl returns to the valley

The 13-year-old girl taken by her uncle that led a statewide amber alert has returned to the valley. Her uncle, 43-year-old Rudolfo Nuncio — led police on a high speed pursuit through three counties, north of Houston, earlier this week. Authorities managed to capture him, and recover the girl.
