Authorities have confirmed the detention of 37, believed-to-be undocumented immigrants and a human smuggler by Border Patrol Agents with the assistance of McAllen police and investigators of the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s department. The bust took place around 4:00 ┬áp.m. at a residence believed to be used as a stash house at the 900th block of Tamarack Avenue. Hidalgo Co. Rollover Involving 14 People, 8 Hospitalized

It was a horrifying scene in Hidalgo County Thursday evening. A vehicle carrying over a dozen individuals rolled over. FOX 2 cameras were rolling at around 5:30 p.m. along Montecristo Road and Monmack in the Edinburg area. At the scene were 14 victims being treated. According to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department, eight were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries and released into Border Patrol custody, as well as the remaining six individuals.
