In Cameron County, a Harlingen driver is under arrest for fleeing the scene of a crash that sent four people to the hospital– including a 5-year-old child. Angelica Mar Peña, 35 years old is accused of being involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of E. Business 83 and Stuart Place. Cameron County Employee Found Guilty of Corruption

Today a jury found a Cameron County employee guilty of corruption. Raul Salazar, an employee of Cameron County Commissioner Ernie Hernandez, was convicted on two counts of abuse of official capacity and one count of tampering with a government record. According to the prosecutor, Salazar ordered a human resources employee to take a civil service exam for someone else. Harlingen Shooting Suspect At Large

Harlingen police were called out to Valley Baptist Medical Center in reference to a man being treated for a gunshot wound. The unidentified victim told police he was outside his residence on the 1000 block of W. Hanson St. at around 1am when four to five unknown male subjects approached him.
