The fatal accident occurred just moments after a prior trailer collision was registered on Business 83 and the Altas Palmas Exit in Harlingen. It was around 9:40 this morning when harlingen police received a call stating there was an accident west of Expressway 83 involving an 18-wheeler and a car. Early this morning a man led authorities in San Benito in a car pursuit that ran thru several cities.The chase beginning after the unidentified suspect failed to stop for a traffic violation. Anyone in Cameron County who still need to pick up sandbags, you may do so at the following locations. In most cases, an id or utility bill is required. Two Facing Charges For Assaulting Each Other

Harlingen (KFXV) — We move to Harlingen now where police placed two men under arrest after responding to a disturbance on the 600 block of North Eye Street.   According to Harlingen Police, an unidentified male suspect — with injuries to his face — told police he’d been assaulted by a second male.  Other officers arriving at the scene, discovered the second male in the area, bleeding from a stab wound to his abdomen.  Investigators learned that the men had assaulted each other, and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.   One has been charged for aggravated...
