Middle School Teen Takes Gun to School

SAN JUAN (KFXV) — A teenager is in police custody after a weapon was found in his possession. San Juan Police confirmed the 15-year-old is now facing charges for unlawful possession of a firearm as well as a narcotics charge after taking these items into a school. Law Proposed to Allow EMTs to Carry Weapons

Texas (KFXV) — Lawmakers have proposed legislation that would allow first responders to carry handguns. The bill filed would allow first responders to carry a handgun while on duty, if they have a permit to do so. Often time, emergency medical crews are the first one to arrive on scene.
