\ The dangers of human smuggling became a reality yesterday. Authorities rescued a young mother and her child battling the Rio Grande currents. According to Border Patrol,   human smugglers were attempting to make their way across the river near Anzalduas dam when they spotted authorities rushing back towards the Mexico.
