Boyfriend Kidnaps His Girlfriend at Knifepoint

BROWNSVILLE (KFXV) — Tonight a man is behind bars after kidnapping a woman. The woman was rescued from the hands of her captor. Authorities stopped the vehicle while they were traveling before reaching the kidnapper’s final destination in a nearby city. 35 year-old, Santiago Gallegos in facing charges for aggravated assault. Man Faces Several Charges after Violently and Sexually Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

Twenty-one year old José Luis Rodriguez was arrested on January 1st after his ex-girlfriend reported to police that he had threatened her with a gun, accusing her of having a new boyfriend. The victim pleaded with Rodriguez to put the gun down. When he did however, he allegedly grabbed a knife and attempted to remove a tattoo the victim had on her arm.
