Shots Fired During McAllen Pursuit

MCALLEN – federal agents are investigating a shooting involving a U.S. border patrol agent this afternoon. The incident happened around 3:30 on 10th street and Jackson Avenue in McAllen. According to authorities, a U.S. border patrol agent following a suspicious vehicle fired a shot because he thought his life was in danger. “The agent felt that his life was threatened and he discharged his service issued pistol. Nobody was injured in the incident, there are however 7 individuals in custody, “explains Daniel Tirado, U.S. border patrol spokesperson. Those individuals are believed to be undocumented immigrants. Border Patrol Educates Real Estate Agents About Stash Houses

The RGV sector’s combined enforcement unit of the U.S. border patrol recently spoke to real estate agents to educate them about stash houses. As part of the “taking care of business” initiative, border patrol spoke with 50 realtors about different methods and tactics used by criminal organizations to make stash houses out of properties. Alleged Gamehaus Gunman Arrested In Brooks County

The alleged gunman who allegedly shot and killed 24-year-old Daniel Avila outside a McAllen bar was intercepted at the Falfurrias U.S. Border patrol checkpoint a few hours ago.
