Tentative Settlement Reached in Donna ISD Federal Court Case

A tentative settlement is reached nearly four weeks after a jury decided in favor of a group of Donna ISD employees suing the school district and members of the board. A jury awards over 3 million dollars in restitution and damages to a group of Donna ISD employees suing the district and the board for discrimination. The decision was made after nearly two days of deliberation; a verdict that came as a sigh of relief for the plaintiffs and a blow to the defendants.
