Cameron County (KFXV) — Brownsville police arrested one man for selling narcotics. According to officials, while conducting surveillance on the 1800 block of Dan Street, agents with the department’s special investigations unit observed their suspect — identified as Oscar Munoz — allegedly selling drugs out of his home. After notifying Munoz of the ongoing investigation during a traffic stop, Munoz consented to a search of his residence. Over the weekend, McAllen police respond to an auto-ped accident early Sunday morning. The fatal accident occurred near the 1400 block of Business 83 and McAllen. Police say the driver identified as Elena Cristal Cavazos struck a 61 year old man and fled the scene. The victim died from his injuries at a local hospital.
