Over $24,000 worth of jewelry reported stolen from several homes in Port Isabel. Authorities report a home on the 600 block of 1st Street was broken into on September 4. The suspect or suspects entered the residence, leaving with approximately $4,000 worth of jewelry. On September 16, a residence on the 1800 block of North Shore was also broken into. A Texas Syndicate gang member accused of shooting a man in the face has been arrested.
