Another auto-pedestrian accident this weekend ends in death, this time the incident involved a vehicle and a cyclist. Spokesperson for the McAllen Police Department, Lieutenant Joel Morales, tells Fox 2 that the incident took place Saturday on south Ware Road and Ilena Avenue at approximately 10:15 pm. The victim, identified as McAllen resident, 66 year old Mario Hernandez was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle. Hernandez was transported to hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
