RIO GRANDE CITY (KFXV) — The man accused of murdering a father and his three-year-old son in Rio Grande City will not face the death penalty.
Jesus Angel Rebollar went before a judge today, where he entered a “not guilty” plea. He faces charges for the murder of Hector Garcia and his son, Julian last November — both died from gunshot wounds. The prosecution will not seek the death penalty because at the time of the murder, Rebollar was only 17-years-old. Rebollar is still behind bars, without a bond.
