Making national headlines, a jury has found James Holmes guilty of first degree murder.

27-year-old Holmes was convicted for the 2012 Colorado movie shooting, that left twelve people dead and seventy injured. Jurors spent about thirteen hours over a day-and-a-half combing through all one-hundred and sixty-five charges. Police say Holmes dressed head-to-toe in body armor, slipped through an emergency exit during a showing of the movie ‘the dark night rises’ and opened fire. The jury rejected defense arguments that Holmes was insane and driven to murder by delusions.
