Palmview (KFXV) — With the help of several agencies, Palmview police have arrested one man in connection to last Friday’s shooting.

The arrest of 28-year-old, Arnel Gonzalez was made on Wednesday in a joint effort by several agencies, including the San Juan swat team and the department of homeland security.

Gonzalez’s apprehension took place at his home near Hilda and La Homa Roads in Palmview.

Investigators believe the suspect is linked to the shooting that happened last Friday night near La Homa and Rachel Roads, which left two men injured.

Gonzalez is facing two counts of criminal attempt capital murder and one charge for engaging in organized criminal activity, his total bond is set at $600,000.

Palmview police are still on the lookout for another suspect involved in the shooting.
